Taquitos for Christmas!
When we were kids mom and dad would pile us into the station wagon and take us to this amazing little taquito place at the end of Olvera Street in L.A. Cielito Lindo was a staple of our childhood. It was the cap to an afternoon adventure or a treat after a show at the Music Center before we went home. At least that’s how I remember it.
Last time we were there was just before the pandemic and it smelled and sounded and tasted just as good as I remembered it from so very long ago.
Eater LA‘s most recent email is entitled “The Best 38 Tacos in LA, period” in my inbox though the article talks about 38 Essential Tacos to try in Los Angeles. I whole heartedly agree with entry #12 and now have a list of places to try. YUM!
